Update: Rest in Peace, Morpheus :(

It's sad when you don't know the name of your recently deceased pet, but I guess that's how it goes when your pets are the size of pennies and they all reside in a 10-gallon tank. Come to think of it, we were never sure if "it" was a boy, too -- but Google search showed us that boys don't have a bump thingy at the end of their butts, so a boy he remained.

Either way, Neo or Morpheus, you were part of the original Three Musketeers with Ichi (RIP) and the other frog (Neo or Morpheus). Although we don't know the little details about you, we'll always remember your acrobatic ways, tumbles and long floats on top of the water.

I always tried to inch the food towards your nose, but you damn African dwarf frogs have such crappy vision, and the greedy catfishes would gobble up all the flakes before you could figure it out. I hope you enjoyed your life and us as your owners.

Neo or Morpheus is leaving behind his neighbors -- six albino cory catfishes, two guppy fishes, a platy, and two one snail -- along with his frog soulmate and his beard.

I'm thankful to have photographed him before he died. Rest in peace...
