Local Food: Nory's

It's one of my lifelong goals to climb Machu Picchu, and with the unexpected tax money I got back (!!!), the dream might come true sooner than I thought. How perfect is it then that I had some of my favorite Peruvian food yesterday at Nory's, located right in our own city.

I'm not a foodie and always go for the tried-and-true: some Inka Cola, bread with aji sauce, and lomo saltado de pollo -- or chicken strips with fries and rice. I can't forget about Edgar's favorite: the lomo saltado, which is beef strips with the same sides. I don't even like red meat, but this is flavored and cooked so well. I'll definitely have to change it up and order his dish one day.

Nom nom nom.
