Finally! Here are a few pictures from my first paid gig, an engagement party in Fullerton.
It was a night filled with beautiful people at a beautiful location, but I still had to work through my nerves and doubts. And it was definitely a learning experience: low lighting; 100-plus people; a malfunctioning flash I was using for the first time, which eventually died on me before the night was over. I was sitting in my car for a good 20 minutes because I was too intimidated to even step inside the mansion. I'm the ultimate perfectionist, and I'm rarely satisfied with anything I create. But I'm grateful for these shots.
